When we first met our client in Larkspur she wanted to renovate her newly purchased home in Larkspur, California with a Refined British Modern design direction. We provided a curated blend of traditional British charm, artisanal details, and a modern color-driven design, ensuring it remains timeless yet innovative.
This to us was a style that balances nostalgia and modernity: solid wood (old and new) hand-thrown ceramics, and vintage textiles coexist effortlessly with tailored upholstery, sculptural lighting, and carefully selected art that blends vintage and contemporary styles.
The palette leans warm and expressive- wood, ochres, sage or moss greens, soft blues, berry tones, prints/patterns and textures with wallpaper set agains warm neutrals that ground the space.
Rather than leaning into clutter, this approach is intentional and collected: each piece feels storied but chosen with purpose. The overall effect is inviting, lived-in, and deeply personal where tradition feels reimagined rather than replicated.
ENTRY

LIVING ROOM

KITCHEN
This kitchen needed a serious refresh. From the 90’s swirly curly lighting to the cherry cabinetry, to the packed desk in the kitchen we really had our hands full… We could not wait to get our hands on this space and give it a facelift.

MUD ROOM

PRIMARY BEDROOM
The Primary Bedroom is one of the last rooms we did and ended up being our favorite. The client wanted to keep her bed so we built the design of the room with the bed as our starting point. You’ll see our Rocker and Dog Bed featured in this room mixed with vintage art, and monochrome bedding…

PRIMARY BATHROOM
We renovated 3 bathrooms in this home but the Primary was our favorite. The inspiration for this bathroom was zen, cozy, spa… and I think we accomplished just that. We used the mossy/jade green quartzite stone to wrap around the tub, shower and cover the counter top of the sink. This really elevated the feel of the room.
