REUNION & CO is a neighborhood coffee roastery and natural wine bar located in Los Feliz, California. They offer a combination of coffee and natural wines, with a focus on ethical farming practices and minimal intervention in wine production. The brand has a history of being open to diverse perspectives and experiences, embracing the unexpected in their offerings.

DESIGN APPROACH
When we were first approached with this project, our client told us, “I don’t want white walls and wood shelving — I’m tired of the minimal, wabi-sabi coffee shops!”
That statement set the tone for everything that followed.
Amber and Emily, both with roots in the fashion industry, brought their distinct sensibilities to the project — Amber with her eclectic, color-forward approach, and Emily with her classic, minimal perspective. Together, that contrast creates a dynamic balance of color, texture, and timelessness — a combination that defines their work and gives each project a sense of personality and soul.

At Reunion, you’ll notice a quiet sense of grandness: the substantial bullnose edge of the marble counter, an oversized mirror anchoring the lounge, and an intricate tile selection that guides the eye throughout the space. The intention was to design an environment that feels lived-in and inviting — elegant but approachable, sophisticated yet comfortable.
As designers and mothers, Amber and Emily understand the importance of durability and warmth. Their goal is always to create spaces that welcome everyone — kids included — without feeling overly precious. While minimal spaces can sometimes feel hands-off, Reunion invites touch, use, and connection.

With every gesture of grandeur, there’s an equal moment of restraint. The furniture of the space is a seamless blend of vintage finds and custom pieces by @Earl-Home. The furniture designed by the Earl’s brings a sense of relaxed sophistication.
There is a global modernism in the work that adds a layer of refinement and balance — grounding the space in elegance without losing its sense of ease.
Reunion is a celebration of family, heritage, and everyday beauty — a place meant to be lived in, loved, and shared.
